Summary:
***This is for a PART TIME position. CDL preferred but not required.
Phoenix Welding Supply is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. Under direct supervision, responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of CO2, Nitrogen and Helium and other types of cylinders and hardgoods to industrial accounts. Receive vendor inventory, check in and stock warehouse and showroom.
Duties:
Organizes daily deliveries by determining the number and kind of cylinders needed and establishing an appropriate driving route.
Unloads empty cylinders from vehicle.
Fills CO2 cylinders.
Loads vehicle with full cylinders and hardgoods for delivery.
Delivers cylinders to customers.
Collects and accounts for cash received from customers.
Keeps track of daily invoices; turns invoices into the accounting department.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties, as assigned.
Help maintain a safe and clean warehouse/store environment.
Skills:
Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficient in route planning and navigation
- Capability to lift heavy packages and products
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment like forklifts
