As part of the Health & Wellbeing Collective, we are building an operational platform to support companies in the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) space called the VMS Co-Op. The VMS Co-Op will host OLLY and SmartyPants and will grow to include other VMS companies and future acquisitions as well.

We work together to look at the big picture strategically as well as roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. THE ROLE: SALES MANAGER - NATURAL CHANNEL

Reporting to the Director of Sales – Natural , the Sales Manager – Natural will oversee critical key accounts , distributors, and independent doors within the c hannel fo r the Unilever Wellbeing Collective representing OLLY, SmartyPants , Onnit Labs and Welly . This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, creating effective promotional plans to drive incremental sales dollars, and manag ing a network of broker partners to ultimately achieve ambitious sales targets set across all four operating companies.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead all sales efforts within the designated area, including customer and broker partnerships.  


• Strategically plan, forecast, and execute annual business and promotion plans for all customers while maintaining the annual reduced revenue rate.  


• Cultivate and manage key account relationships to maximize sales opportunities.  


• Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including strategy, marketing, and product development, to align sales goals with brand objectives and service retail partners effectively.  


• Articulate each brand’s unique and premium value proposition, both individually and as part of a collective portfolio.  


• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.  


• Translate business plans into effective retail execution.  


• Conduct annual joint business planning with strategic partnerships.  


• Manage highly complex situations with multiple stakeholders and tasks under tight timelines.  


• Ensure pricing and financial guidelines are followed in the marketplace.  

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

• A successful track record with 3-8 years sales experience within the CPG space.  


• Energized and passionate about building a transformational collective of wellbeing brands.  


• Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with category merchants, procurement buyers, and broker partners.  


• Entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mindset, and ownership mentality.  


• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.  


• Strong negotiation skills and ability to reach alignment with retail partners.


• Thought leadership that inspires change and value within the organization.  


• Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally to achieve company-wide goals.  


• Ability to articulate root causes of problems, define trade-offs, and translate insights into solutions.  


• Maintains professionalism and upholds core company values.  

THE DETAILS  

LOCATION: Remote, USA - 4X travel per year to company offsites  

HOURS: full time, exempt (salaried) 

MANAGER: Sales Directo r – Natural  

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.  

The base pay range for this position is $104,000.00 -$156,000.  For this remote role, compensation is determined based on geographic location and experience, and the final offer will reflect these factors within the posted range.
